My recording of "If I Needed Someone" strives for a mix of my style and an ode to The Beatles and George Harrison. I kept some of the same production techniques, such as the split stereo of the vocals right and guitars left, as well as the doubled lead vocals. But I re-phrased the vocals, arranged new harmonies and added lead guitar tracks.

The lead guitar is my humble (and I mean HUMBLE) nod to George, using the reversed tracking from the Revolver set and a direct imitation of his lead to start of "And Your Bird Can Sing."
